Cars & Coffee – WOW!

We were blessed with perfect weather and great participation yesterday.

Cars and Coffee in Lake Mills was HUGE! They were lined up before seven. It was a capacity gathering of great automobiles and there were hundreds of onlookers roaming through the vehicles.

Randy and his associates deserve many thanks for continuing to present a great venue and great organization to handle the demand to participate. It seems this event has become something special, with so many great vehicles coming from many miles around. If my count was correct, there were SIX Ford GT's on display. Many, many great vehicles of all ages, shapes, colors and brands.

It was reported that the donations exceeded the previous record. In addition, there was a sponsorship.

We had a great army of CCK Directors to assist with the well-oiled volunteer group that Randy assembled. I believe we all enjoy helping to make this event fun and to encourage the participants to contribute to CCK.

Following Cars and Coffee, many of us drove the short distance to Jeff and Carolyn Ball's home. What a wonderful setting, a great car barn, fantastic collection and gorgeous home! It was so nice to enjoy each other's company in a casual setting. There was so much to enjoy. At the same time, many of the conversations were about our commitment to Cars Curing Kids.

Please join me in thanking Jeff and Carolyn for providing us with such a wonderful afternoon. They have such a great place and went way above and beyond to provide us with delicious sustenance. Thank you, Jeff and Carolyn!

Once again, we need to thank Randy and his entire force of volunteers for providing CCK with the opportunity to tag along during their great event. It is a joy to participate and CCK is so fortunate that Randy has chosen us for his charity. Thank you, Randy!

I am excited about the upcoming weekend! Saturday evening at Porta Alba for delicious food and great conversation, then the Cruise benefiting Ronald McDonald House Charities on Sunday.

We are blessed to be able to enjoy our hobby while helping to improve the health of children.
